Monett Gets Team Trophy for Taking Second Place in Team Competition

Monett Received Four Medals for Singles:

Second Place - Number One Singles - Jackson Spencer, Senior

Second Place - Number Two Singles - Casey Shields, Senior

Second Place - Number Four Singles - Dylan Lynch, Sophomore

Second Place - Number Five Singles - Angel Salas, Sophomore

Monett Received Two Medals for Doubles

Second Place - Number One Doubles - Jackson Spencer and Casey Shields

Second Place - Number Three Doubles - Angel Salas and Ben Hoyt

First day of practice is Monday, February 25 for boys tennis. If the temperature is above 50 degrees, we will meet at the North Park tennis courts. If the temperature is below 50 degrees, we will meet at Scott Tech or at the high school mezzanine. Practice is from 3:30 to 5:30. Email Coach Smith to verify practice location (jsmith@monettschools.org).Indoor and outdoor practices will require athletic clothing, tennis shoes and a tennis racquet. Coach Smith has extra racquets if you need to borrow a racquet. 

You must have a physical on file with the high school to attend tennis practice. No prior experience is needed to play tennis. If you have a good attitude and athletic ability, then we can teach you to be successful.
