I grew up in Springfield, MO and went to Springfield Catholic High School where I was a 1st team All-District volleyball and track athlete. I received a scholarship to play volleyball at Missouri State University-West Plains, where we were nationally ranked. I then finished my degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Returning to Springfield, I was the head volleyball coach at Springfield Catholic and coached club volleyball for Springfield Juniors, while getting my teacher certification. From 2003-2006 I was the freshman coach at West Plains High School. I then returned to Springfield Catholic as the head volleyball coach from 2006-2009. I have been teaching at Monett for 6 years, working as the freshman volleyball coach for the last four years.
